Components of a Pet Artificial Grass Systems

We utilize a five-step installation process to give you the best turf landscape for your home or business. The most essential components are the following:
Base Material: Artificial grass needs to be installed over a foundation of a compacted base material such as crushed rock. This provides a stable surface for the turf, as well as excellent drainage to help wash away liquid pet waste.
Artificial Grass: When properly installed, the artificial grass layer will stay neatly in place no matter how hard your pets play on it.
Ruff Zone Artificial Grass with Microban®
Its S-shaped blades are extruded with an exact ribbed texture on the blade’s surface, eliminating weak points in the fibers creating unprecedented split resistance while making the blades soft to the touch.

Maintaining Your Artificial Turf Landscape is Simple
Artificial grass is low-maintenance, not no-maintenance. You will need to complete a few easy maintenance tasks to keep it looking its best:
- Rinse It: Airborne dust and dirt can settle on your artificial grass and make it look dingy. Fortunately, cleaning it off is as simple as rinsing with water.
- Brush It: Heavy foot traffic can cause artificial grass to look flat and matted. To prevent or correct this, simply brush it against the direction of the blades with a plastic-bristled brush. This will get the blades standing up perkily again.
Power Brooming:
When synthetic turf fibers are not brushed vertically they create a shiny appearance. This is due to the reflection of light. Defibrillation diminishes this shiny look by placing the fibers in an upright position and thereby reducing the amount of glare from the sun. When done correctly, defibrillation creates a much darker and plusher appearance.
- Defibrillation can be done manually, with a rake and/or push broom, alternatively, it can be done mechanically with a motorized broom.
